Beginner Chinese Conversation Class

Course Introduction

This beginner Chinese conversation class is designed for adult learners who would like to develop practical communication skills in Mandarin Chinese in a supportive and interactive environment. The course focuses on everyday conversations, pronunciation, essential vocabulary, and useful sentence patterns that students can immediately apply in real-life situations.

Classes meet once/twice a week for one hour each session. Each week centers around one practical topic, allowing students to build confidence through repetition, guided speaking practice, role-plays, and interactive activities.

By the end of the 10-week course, students will be able to:

• Introduce themselves in Chinese

• Ask and answer simple daily questions

• Order food and shop in Chinese

• Talk about family, hobbies, schedules, and routines
